Datateam Business Media, a leading provider of publications and events in the business-to-business (B2B) and healthcare sectors, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Process Engineering magazine, and its website, from Synthesis Media.
Launched in 1956, Process Engineering magazine has long been a leading resource for process and plant specialists working in the key process sectors – such as food & beverage, pharmceuticals, chemicals and energy.
Datateam Business Media operates numerous B2B brands and events in the UK and overseas across a range of sectors, including the manufacturing industry. Process Engineering will be merged with Datateam’s existing title Process & Control, resulting in the launch of a new magazine, Process & Control Engineering. This new platform will offer a fresh perspective on the key disciplines in the industrial processing sector.
Paul Ryder, Media Director, Datateam Business Media, commented: “We are very pleased to have acquired Process Engineering magazine from Synthesis Media. This acquisition is a natural fit with our industrial and engineering titles, and we look forward to providing process engineers with a trusted source of information in a fresh, new format.”
Sean Marshall, Publisher, Synthesis Media, added: “I am delighted to be passing Process Engineering magazine and its website on to Datateam. After more than 20 years of stewardship, it feels very satisfying to hand over the baton to such a professional and well-established operation. Process Engineering fits perfectly within Datateam’s stable of engineering brands, and I look forward to seeing it go from strength to strength in this next chapter.”
