Pump design reduces cleaning time by up to 40%

Flojet has announced the introduction of the Flojet LF Plus Beverage Dispense pumps line, a series of low flow industrial motor driven diaphragm pumps. The pump is one of the units in the Flojet LF Plus series. All of the pumps in this range are designed to reduce diaphragm cleaning time by up to 40% and weigh just 20 ounces. Flojet is a Xylem brand.

Using reciprocating diaphragm technology, Flojet LF Plus pumps are suitable for moving liquids in a range of temperatures, from 0-43°C and even those with acidic content, such as syrups, juice concentrates, teas, wines, draft beers and liquor. The pumps come with a 1.0 GPM (3.8 LPM) flow rate to deliver a virtually silent operation and can be used in applications where space is tight.

The pumps draw so little power that they can operate on battery power, allowing them to be mounted or used nearly anywhere, or for back-up use during a power outrage.

Each pump features 360° quick connect swivel ports to allow for freedom of port orientation, flexible mounting feet, an inline fuse, and a manual on/off switch that saves time and reduces operating costs. They can attain operating pressures of up to 40psi (2.75 bar), have self-priming capabilities up to six feet (1.8m), and dependable run dry capabilities.
