DJB Instruments Ltd has announced the launch of an all new handheld vibration meter. Available as a complete kit including palm size meter, cables, vibration probe, magnet and worldwide charger the VS1 replaces the outgoing VT2.
The VS1 offers a range of upgraded features over the VT2 including:
- Storage of up to 100 time-stamped data readings.
- Full colour LCD Display.
- Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery in addition to a worldwide charger.
- RMS, peak, peak-peak, crest factor readings in acceleration, velocity or displacement modes.
- Bearing condition mode (acceleration and velocity).
- Rubber protective jacket to protect in harsh environment use.
- Adaptive amplifier for high accuracy.
- AC output.
- Audio output to enable the user to listen to the vibration being measured in isolation.
