It’s a simple way to capture and register assets (instruments, valves, pumps, motors, etc.) in the Endress+Hauser Analytics web application. Take pictures of your asset, type in or scan key information and store them all in the Cloud. That’s all you have to do. You can even decide to write an RFID tag with all the necessary information.
You’ll then be able to organise your assets in the Analytics app, where you’ll find information about your measuring points and improvement recommendations. For Endress+Hauser devices, Analytics displays additional information such as the availability of the product and – if the product is no longer available – a recommendation for a substitute.
Creating transparency
Making ‘digital twins’ of all your assets in this way is the gateway to many future functionalities and improvements. You’ll get an overview of what equipment is currently installed, create lists, organise your assets the way you like and increase your knowledge of your installed base.
When you’ve scanned your assets, you can start to unlock the useful data they hold. You can evaluate obsolescence and standardisation possibilities of your equipment and reduce complexity in the field. This minimises the risk of unplanned downtime, and it’s the first step to benefiting from many future improvements that the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) will bring.
