S Jones Conversions, the specialist container conversion division of S Jones Containers, has delivered its latest bespoke container for the UK’s largest mobile and modular water treatment rental company, Siltbuster.
Part of the Workdry Group, Siltbuster provides advanced solutions for water and wastewater treatment across the water, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Utilising a modular approach, it provides sites with clean and compliant water management including sediment control and chemical dosing.
The company has a longstanding partnership with S Jones Conversions, which has successfully delivered more than 30 modified 20 ft units for Siltbuster since 2018. Its containers are used for safely securing equipment on site for various projects nationwide, including to support the building of a new gas pipeline under the River Humber on behalf of Porr Skanska A Hak and National Grid, and a major UK road scheme featuring significant earth-moving works. Many of Siltbuster’s projects are critical and time sensitive, so it’s vital that S Jones Conversions produces and delivers the containers efficiently.
In order to meet safety and practical requirements for the use of the containers, S Jones Conversions’ expert team created several modifications to the container, including the addition of a roller shutter to one side to enable workers to move equipment in and out of the container on site, as well as a frame and reinforced floor. Further modifications included vents and a lockable personnel door.
