Sensing Technology 2012, which took place in September at the NEC, has been hailed a major success by both visitors and exhibitors alike. Building on the experience gained from the last two years it once again provided a high quality of visitor, enabling the exhibitors to discuss new projects and innovations on their stands, generate useful leads and, in many cases, take orders at the show. Visitors also had the opportunity to attend seminars on a variety of topics, and plans are already in place to ensure 2013 builds upon this success.
Run in partnership between Datateam Business Media and Trident Exhibitions, the success of this year’s show provides the ideal springboard from which to launch the brand new Sensors & Instrumentation show, which will take place on 25th & 26th September 2013 at the NEC. This provides the ONLY dedicated national exhibition for the test, measurement and control sector.
Here’s what some of the visitors had to say about this year’s show: Sam Drury, Impress Sensors+Systems: ‘There was a great ‘buzz’ over the two days and I am sure 2013 will be even better and hopefully make this the generic ‘sensor and instrumentation’ show in the UK!”
Tony Ingham, Sensor Technology: ‘Excellent show! The co-location with the other technology shows was of real benefit.”
Mike O’Keeffe, sales director, Avancer: ‘As well as being well organised and run we were especially pleased with both the quantity and quality of visitors at the show and have generated a good number of sales leads…’
