Magnets, Magnetic Components, Magnetic Assemblies and Magnetic Separators will be displayed on the Bunting Magnetics Europe Ltd stand (T61, FIVE) at Southern Manufacturing at Farnborough, Hampshire, UK on the 10th to 12th February 2015.

DESIGN of is a primary service that is provided to customers, using the extensive knowledge and experience of Bunting engineers and the latest technology to assess and provide magnetic solutions to customer’s problems. Design contracts are across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, automotive and defence;
PROTOTYPE BUILD, on Magnets, Magnetic Components and Magnetic Assembly development projects, is undertaken as ‘proof of concept’ or ‘design validation’. Further production refinements as then explored with the customer as part of the process towards the finished product design.
TECHNICAL MAGNETIC ASSEMBLIES are produced in-house in the European headquarters with comprehensive manufacturing facilities including machining; hydraulic and mechanical presses and injection moulding presses. One-off magnets and magnetic assemblies to many thousands per month can both be accommodated in Bunting’s flexible and customer focused manufacturing process.
MAGNETIC SUB ASSEMBLIES are an increasing aspect of the company’s service, with customers working closely with Bunting engineers to produce bespoke designs.
MAGNETS are produced at the European Headquarters and the US facility with parts ranging from several hundred per month to in excess of 2 million pieces per month. Magnets are available ex stock for small orders (which can be purchased online) to purpose-made multimillion piece contracts for OEM’s. MAGNETISATION is carried out with fixtures designed and built in-house. This enables Bunting to offer a complete product with total ownership of the magnet. To provide a competitive final product it is critical to obtain the best from the magnet and magnetisation is key to achieve this ambition. Dr Chris Riley leads this activity in the UK and is a recognised expert in this field and has worked on fixture design for many years.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT is all about getting the customer what they require on time and to specification. Within Bunting is a team solely dedicated to this core activity.
MAGNETS and PRODUCTS are offered as off the shelf items and range from engineering magnets to products designed for offices. Many are available through the e-Magnets UK Ecommerce site.
MAGNETIC SEPARATORS and METAL DETECTORS, for removing, separating or recovering both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, are designed and manufactured at the Bunting European Headquarters. Bunting has a wide range of Magnetic Separator designs to suit a wide range of metal contamination and recovery problems and have assisted companies involved in Recycling; Plastics and Plastic Component and Part Manufacturing; Food Manufacturing; Processing; and Bulk and Solids Material Handling.
