Future Robotics, the UK’s only independent industrial robotics conference, is just weeks away – with the launch event taking place on Tuesday 13 November in The Slate, set on campus at Warwick University.

With a ground-breaking approach to the topic, this exciting and informative one-day event is imperative for companies that are currently integrating, or considering integrating, industrial robotics into their processes. The Future Robotics conference and exhibition will provide the answers to the questions that matter and offer a one-stop shop for the latest products and solutions.

The focal feature of the event, a full CPD accredited seminar programme, will serve as a timely resource for discussing vital trends. Delegates will benefit from a number of presentations from the foremost robotics experts, manufacturers and suppliers in the seminar theatre sponsored by B&R Automation – building a concise and informative view of both the current and future markets.

Delegates will hear from the experts and learn through real world examples how the latest robotic automation technology can help them improve manufacturing efficiency, raise productivity, lower costs and ultimately increase profitability.

Presentation titles range from ‘Is your business ready for automation technology?’, ‘How to make a robot application safe’ and ‘Real-time 3D Robot Vision using 3D Stereo Vision’ to ‘Industry 5.0, flexible automation and cobots’, ‘A smart grasping future for robotic applications’ and ‘Future technology and the skills gap’. The full conference schedule, complete with seminar synopses, is now live on the Future Robotics website.

In addition to the seminar programme, delegates will have a unique opportunity to source the latest products and solutions from a range of market-leading suppliers – all under one roof at the Future Robotics exhibition.

The exciting and interactive exhibition space, which features a Live Demonstration Area, will see leading vendors of intelligent automation solutions showcasing everything from individual components all the way through to fully automated systems. Company experts will also be on hand to discuss individual cases and ideal solutions.

Companies set to exhibit include ABB Robotics, HMK, ifm, igusKuka, Piab, Pilz, Reeco Automation, Scorpion Vision, SensoPart, Servo Components & Systems, Shadow Robot Company, Sick (UK), SMC, ST Robotics, TestWorks Group and Universal Robots.

Commenting on Universal Robots’ decision to take part, UK sales manager Mark Gray says: “As big supporters and believers in automation and robotics, we’re excited to not only participate and present our contribution to the industry but also to meet likeminded professionals who are coming up with innovative new technologies or applications.”

Delegates that visit the Universal Robots stand will be able to enjoy a hand-on experience with cobots and the range of technologies available from UR+ partners. Gray continues: “Users can simply walk up to one of our cobots, grab a touchscreen, follow the interactive user interface and within two minutes they will have mastered their first robot move. We want our visitors to get a practical understanding of how the cobots work and just how easy they are to operate.”

“At the booth this abstract idea of a cobot will become reality – and you’ll get to be the operator.”

With Future Robotics on the horizon, a limited number of delegate tickets are still available, costing just £55 (inclusive of lunch and refreshments throughout the day).

Tickets are available to purchase, along with further information about the conference, on the Future Robotics website – www.futurerobotics.co.uk.

Future Robotics has received the backing of a number of industry heavyweights, including headline sponsor Sick (UK), plus Pilz, SMC, Universal Robots, B&R Automation, Mouser Electronics and Servo Components.
