Ex eb indicators are an even more attractive alternative to Ex d models

BEKA has further improved the performance of two IECEx and ATEX certified Ex eb 4/20mA loop powered indicators that are lower cost, drop-in alternatives to Ex d 4/20mA indicators.  Introduced in 2020, the BA304SG and BA324SG are not only less expensive than traditional flameproof indicators, but also feature very large, easy-to-read displays and eliminate the need for expensive Ex d cable glands.  For dust hazards, both indicators also have Ex tb certification.

Recently, the maximum voltage drop they introduce into a 4/20mA loop has been reduced to 2.9 V, or 5.8 V when fitted with the optional loop powered backlight. North American AEx certification has been added, while a stainless steel enclosure option is now available.

These latest improvements make the 4 digit BA304SG and 5 digit BA324SG an even more attractive option where a cost effective, highly visible 4/20mA indicator is required in Zones 1, 2, 21 or 22.
