The Test Tools Shop offer a range of handheld process calibrators and here we pick what we consider to be Fluke’s top four.

If you are working within any process related industry we are sure that one of these handheld calibrators will be suitable for you or members of your team.

We have also made sure that they competitively price, available from stock and backed up by our free next day delivery service.

This is what our experts at the Test Tools Shop considers to be Flukes best selection of Hand Held Calibrators, read what they have to say about each of Fluke’s ‘Top 4’ Process Calibrators.

What we like about the Fluke 771 mA Process Clamp Meter

If you’re just looking for a quick and simple way to check lots of 4-20mA signal loops within your process system then the Fluke 771 mA Process Clamp Meter is the best tool to cover this function. It’s also got a great inbuilt spotlight to illuminate the test area when checking those mA loops in a confined poorly lit enclosures, plus the small removable clamp with extension cable allows you to get into tight spots and still see the display from outside the confined space of the enclosure.

  • Measure mA signals without the need to break the process loop.
  • Two auto measurement ranges at 0 to 20.99mA and 0 to 100.0mA.
  • Inbuilt spot light to illuminate wire loops in confined poorly lit enclosures.
  • Detachable clamp allows you get into tight spots and still see the display from outside the enclosed space.

What we like about the Fluke 705 Loop Calibrator.

This one is a great little compact simple cost-effective solution for the calibration, repair and maintenance of process current loops. Simple push button control offers 25% steps for fast, easy linearity checks, or you can select auto ramp and step functions to provide smooth outputs for process inspection routines.

  • Source, Simulate or Measure 4-20mA or 0-20mA with a basic accuracy of 0.02%
  • Large display simultaneously shows 4-20mA or 0-20mA range plus % range.
  • Simple push button control offers 25% steps for fast, easy linearity checks.
  • 24V loop supply for testing 2 wire transmitters, measuring mA output while providing loop power.

What we like about the Fluke 714B Thermocouple Calibrator.

The Fluke 714B Thermocouple Calibrator offers a quick and simple way to measure temperature via a range of 17 thermocouples. The calibrator can also be used to simulate thermocouples used within process systems, for instance a thermocouple input to a transmitter can be simulated by simply selecting the thermocouple type, set the output either in a ramp or step mode and then simulate the thermocouple input over its complete range, while at the same time measuring the 4…20mA output from the transmitter under test, both the simulated temperature and transmitter output are displayed on the calibrators large LCD display. To make things even easier the calibrator is also supplied with Fluke’s TPAK Magnetic Hanging Strap this frees up your hands to allow you to make the connections required and then operate the simple up/down push button controls.

  • Key feature – Measure and simulate a range of 17 Thermocouple types.
  • Measure output signal from temperature transmitters while simulating temperature changes at their input terminals.
  • Standard thermocouple connection point plus m4 terminals for current measurement.
  • Rugged, easy to use and high accuracy instrument.

What we like about the Fluke 725 Multifunction Process Calibrator.

The Fluke 725 Multifunction Process Calibrator is Fluke’s most popular multifunctional process calibrator and for good reason, 1000’s of process engineers have chosen this process calibration tool because of its ability to source and simulate a comprehensive range of process signal variables, these include mA, V, resistance and temperature via thermocouples and RTD’s. Along with the measurement DC voltages, current up to 24mA, plus resistance and frequency. You can also measure temperature via a range of thermocouples and RTD’s. And then the big plus is that you can also measure/source* pressure via Fluke’s 750 Series Pressure Calibration Modules. *Pressure pump would also be required for this operation.

  • Source & Simulate 4-20mA, 0-20mA or 0-24mA, accuracy of 0.02% and a resolution of 0.001mA
  • 24V loop supply for testing 2 wire transmitters, measuring mA output while providing loop power.
  • Voltage source ranges include ±0-100 mV & 0-10 V.
  • Temperature simulation and measurement of both RTD’s or thermocouples
