Industrial Ancillaries has introduced the Metering Ball Valves (MBV) product range from HAM-LET, which is designed to remove leak paths within a hydraulic system.

The MBV is a major advance over the traditional solution by replacing two hydraulic system components – a shut-off valve and a metering valve. The MBV incorporates both the metering and shut off functions in one unit. This single unit decreases installation and maintenance costs while reducing the risk of faults within a hydraulic system by removing two potential leak paths.

Patented in the US, the MBV series has won HAM-LET recognition for its technology from Flow -Control magazine due to its shut-off capabilities whilst having full process control from complete shut-off to extra fine regulation. This metering ball valve series is the ultimate solution for precision flow control for moderate pressure applications.

The valve combines an accurate micro-meter control mechanism for gases and liquids with a sealing mechanism within the single unit. It is easy to install and does not require multiple connectors and pipelines making system maintenance easier and quicker. It is reliable, easy to operate and can drastically reduce the length of the line in the system because it is a considerable space saving solution which reduces the system’s weight, dead volume, footprint and installation time.
