Leading supplier of geotechnical and ground source heat products, MGS, have announced they will be returning to the Environmental Services & Solutions (ESS) Expo on 16-17 September 2026.

Held at the NEC Birmingham, ESS is the UK’s leading environmental event dedicated to sustainability, biodiversity, the circular economy and net zero.

The event brings together experts from a wide range of connected industries and features six dedicated areas: Geotechnical Engineering & Operations; Resource & Waste Management; Water, Wastewater & Environmental Management; Energy, Fuels & Decarbonisation and Contamination & Land Remediation.

As an exhibitor at the Geotechnical Engineering & Operations Expo, MGS will be showcasing their range of QED Gas Analysers and AutoPumps, as well as other specialist geotechnical drilling supplies.

“ESS is a great opportunity for us to showcase the breadth of products and solutions we supply to the environmental, geotechnical and geothermal sectors. From gas and groundwater monitoring equipment to specialist drilling supplies and ground source heat products, we support a wide range of projects across these industries,” says Darren Portway, Division Manager at MGS.

Founded in 1988, MGS are a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of specialist quality equipment for use in landfill gas monitoring, groundwater remediation, site investigation and water well construction.

The company also manufactures and supplies geothermal products for ground source heat pump installations, including geothermal pipework, manifolds, chambers and their market-leading Thermo-Loops®.

These products are widely used within ground source heat projects, supporting the growing adoption of sustainable heating technologies throughout the UK.

“ESS brings together many of the industries and applications that our products are used in – not just geotechnical projects, but also groundwater management, decarbonisation and land remediation. We’re looking forward to demonstrating that wider capability to visitors from across the whole exhibition” adds Darren.

With their broad range of specialist equipment used across environmental industries, MGS will use the event to connect with new and existing customers and discuss how their products can support projects across the sector.

Leading members of the MGS team will be found on stand GEO-R36 in the Geotechnical Engineering & Operations area.

“ESS brings together many of the industries that we work with every day, from geotechnical investigation and environmental monitoring through to groundwater management and renewable heating. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet customers, discuss current industry challenges and demonstrate the specialist products and expertise MGS can provide,” adds Darren
