This successful, award-winning range now includes the UF401V, a new ultrasonic sensor which is ideally suited for mobile machines.
The UF401V is an innovative new near range ultrasonic sensor which has been added to Baumer’s comprehensive range of high-performing sensors for mobile machines. This easily integrated sensor provides reliable positioning and presence monitoring data, such as distance to ground, target position, distance, and object detection. Furthermore, the smart UF401V can suppress the transient effect of manufacturing plants and systems between itself and the targeted measurement data. This is important for operators as it eliminates the concerns when interruptions occur in data collection, helping to ease integration at control levels.
The UF401V sensor is one of a wide range of sensing technologies available from the Baumer Toolbox range providing customers with assistance to autonomy. In terms of the smart sensor solutions for mobile machines, the options offered are safety-certified absolute encoders for enhanced machine performance, easy integration, maximum machine uptime and certified to SIL2/PLd.
Also, high-precision inclination sensors providing accuracy up to ± 0.1˚, stable precision over temperature, protection class to IP 69K and corrosion resistance CX (C5-M). These E1 compliant sensors are available in 1 or 2 dimensional versions, with interface CANopen, SAE J1939, an installation height of 24mm and applicable to PLd (ISO 13849-1: 2023).
Completing the range are off-highway robust and reliable sensors for agricultural and construction machinery applications. These multi-object radar sensors allow individual application solutions and are fully tested to the highest industry standards whilst resisting environmental influences such as wind, temperature, or humidity.
