Such technology delivers on-line verification of device performance which reduces the expense and labour associated with outsourced calibration services, and eliminates process interruption.
The easy to operate technology is embedded in the transmitter functionality to verify calibration and the health of the sensor, electronics and analogue loop. Measurement integrity feedback is delivered in under two minutes and can be set to run continuously in the background, or on-demand at the touch of a button.
Using Smart Meter Verification means there is no need to remove the meter from the line or stop the process flow, which means availability is increased and costs are reduced through minimising the manpower needed to check or calibrate meters. Reducing trips into the field improves personnel safety, and because there is no need to break the process seals, environmental impact is also reduced.
