Problem: Adhesives manufacturer Bostik required a reliable vacuum system for its plant in Changshu, China. Solution: Edwards has won an order worth over £190K to supply its chemical dry vacuum pump systems to Bostik. By using the Edwards’ system, Bostik will be able to make operational cost savings, and also optimise its process and reduce its carbon footprint.
The company is already using two of Edwards dry pumping systems, so was familiar with the product. The vacuum system was chosen for its robustness and ability to withstand harsh processes, and also because of Edwards’ technical support and applications knowledge of the process.
