Pump hire specialist, Sykes Pumps, has introduced the Super Wispaset 80 eco to its range of super silenced pumps, offering one of the most fuel-efficient and cost-effective diesel pumps on the market and an ideal solution for noise sensitive areas.
The compact new pump adds to Sykes Pumps’ extensive range of super silenced pump solutions. The range enables users to reduce the impact of noise pollution without compromising on performance and is backed by the company’s national depot network, and 24/7 call out capabilities.
Ideally suited to a range of applications including construction, utilities, civil engineering, marine and quarries, docks, ports, harbours, offshore, waste water treatments, power stations, tunnelling, manufacture and industry and mines and quarries, the new Super Wispaset 80 eco pump is housed in an acoustic canopy and operates at a low noise level of just 64 dBA @7m. It’s compact and lightweight design means that it is easy to manoeuvre on site and suitable for confined locations.
Capable of flows of up to 36 litres per second and a maximum head of 24m, the pump has a built-in, fully-bunded 35-litre fuel tank, which protects the environment from spillages and enables continuous operation for 24-hours. With fully automatic priming and re-priming from dry the new pump is ideal for unattended sites and overnight operation.
