For level measurement, selection is easy. VEGAFLEX 80 is part of the VEGA plics® system; no twin or coaxial designs are needed for standard vessel or bridle applications, removing susceptibility to build up or viscous media. This configuration also applies to interface measurement, which, due to the variability of process, is often a difficult measurement to make. This is overcome by industry-leading sensor sensitivity – the excellent signal to noise ratio ensures the level or interface is tracked reliably. Not only that, but algorithms employ a unique VEGAFLEX differential signal-processing technique, which further adds to the sensors reliability and accuracy.
A range of designs and materials enable application specifications like process temperatures from -196°C up to 450°C and pressures up to 400 bar.
