An aeration solution worth drinking to

Problem: A soft drinks manufacturer was keen to achieve exemplary standards in its treatment and discharge of effluent.

Solution: Landia has helped the company do this with the installation of a DG-I 80 Air Jet in the final effluent tank before discharge to reed beds.

Mounted on a tubular stainless steel frame in a butyl-lined above ground store, the 3kw Landia Air Jet transfers oxygen into the liquid to start and aid the biological process, cleaning the wastewater and keeping solids in suspension for treatment further along the process.

A spokesperson for the soft drinks manufacturer said: “The Landia equipment is proving ideal for our final aeration process – and the support we’ve received in fine-tuning the system has far exceeded our expectations.”
