Problem: 2 Sisters Food Group, who produce own-label and household name brands such as Foxs Biscuits and Goodfellas Pizzas, was looking for a way of breaking down any lumps and dry matter in its wastewater prior to discharge.
Solution: Landia’s AirJet aeration system, which reduces particle sizes in effluent treatment plants, has become an integral part of a wastewater system at the food company. The two exterior-mounted 11 kW AirJets break down lumps and dry matter at the Flixton manufacturing site.
The 1500rpm AirJets benefit from Landia’s MPTK chopper pumps, which have a knife system designed to remain unblocked and trouble-free for 2 Sisters Food Group, who also supplies food products to major retailers such as Tesco and Asda.
