Founded in 1945 Huba Control AG develop, manufacturer and market components designed exclusively for the measurement of pressure and flow from its Global Headquarters in Würenlos near Zurich.

Our in house design and manufacturing facilities have developed an innovative range of products across a broad spectrum of applications which incorporate our own unique range of pressure measuring cells, diaphragms and special ceramic cantilever beams making Huba Control a leading manufacturer of Pressure Transmitters, Switches and Sensors for sensing single pressure from -1 to 1,000 bar, differential pressure up to 25 bar and Vortex Flow Sensors from 0.9 l/min to 150 l/min.

An example of this unique approach is the Type 692 Differential Pressure transmitter which provides a highly cost effective solution across a wide variety of wet or dry Process Applications such as filter monitoring, pump staging, tank level indication or compressor control for system pressures up to 50 bar and media temperatures up to 85ºC. With 24 standard ranges from 0.1bar to 25bar differential pressure, outputs of 4-20 mA, 0-5 V and 0-10 V and a response time of less than 5ms the Type 692 is ideally suited for use in closed loop control. Wetted parts are a combination of stainless steel or PVDF material, with seals including EPDM, NBR, MVQ, Viton or Neoprene combined with our proven unique ceramic technology ensures a stable and reliable long term performance.

Cantilevered Ceramic Beam Technology

The distinct advantages of the sensor include:

  • Adjustable measurement ranges
  • Switchable output signals
  • Zero point reset button
  • Switchable response curve – linear or root extracted
  • LCD display enabling additional configuration

Huba’s range of transmitters has recently been extended with the introduction of two ATEX Approved transmitters:

The Type 520 has been developed for applications within the industrial refrigeration market and is based on thick film technology developed by Huba Control, which utilises a special grade of steel welded to the pressure sensor. The sensor can be used for all gases and media in refrigeration including ammonia.

The distinct advantages of the Type 520 transmitters include:

  • Relative Pressure 0 … 2.5 – 600 Bar
  • Compact welded construction
  • Media temperatures of –40°C … +135°C

The Type 528 utilises a ceramic technology developed by Huba Control and used in combination with our unique integrated electronics design means the sensor has a high degree of accuracy for all temperature ranges.

The distinct advantages of the Type 528 transmitters include:

  • Relative Pressure 0…1- 60 Bar / Absolute Pressure –1…0 – 16 Bar
  • Compact rugged construction
  • Media temperatures of –40°C … +125°C

Huba’s production department is designed with varying degrees of rationalisation, (fully, semi and partially automatic manufacturer) depending on the quantities involved. A key strength is our mastery of complex automated production processes, including automatic calibration, enables short turn round of one off products and large scale production runs.

Our quality assurance system (certificated to ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949. ISO/IEC 17025 & ISO 14001) ensures that products are manufactured in accordance with clearly defined procedures and processes.

The target market for Huba Control is divided into several sectors based upon application such as special pressure sensors for Industrial automation (INDUSTRY) or components for gas boilers (GAS), heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and white goods (WASHING MACHINES) and Huba is the market leader in the GAS BOILER and HVAC sectors

Typically, our sensors are used in applications such as:

HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS – STATIC or VEHICLE MOUNTED
PNEUMATIC SYSTEMS

AIR or LIQUID FILTRATION SYSTEMS
WHITE GOODS
BOILERS
LIQUID PUMP SYSTEMS
HEATING & VENTILATION
LIQUID LEVEL MEASUREMENT
PROCESS CONTROL
REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT
