The new detachable 4511 interface allows you to communicate digitally with all PR electronics system 4000 and 9000 devices – and you can even access the units remotely with the new PPS application.
Making the change from analog to digital has never been easier or more intuitive. PR electronics introduces the 4511 – a local operator interface that enables engineers and technical staff in the process industries to add Modbus communications to their installed PR electronics system 4000 and 9000 devices, simply by attaching a 4511 communication interface to each device.
The original analog output signal is retained for redundancy, while the 4511 enables onsite and remote programming, input simulation and monitoring. Thanks to the intuitive detachable local operator interface, your devices can be accessed and configured in a matter of seconds through Modbus, via an Ethernet connection to the new PR electronics gateway, or remotely using PR electronics’ Portable Plant Supervisor (PPS) app available for multiple platforms such as iOS, Windows or Android.
The 4511 interface and PPS app provides users with a smarter, simpler and more cost-effective alternative to Asset Management System (AMS), while making their 4000 and 9000 devices ready for the future.
