Unlock the full potential of your pH sensors with PASVE® pH, the ultimate mounting and service valve, a game-changer for process operations.

Many batch processes like maintaining hygienic pH monitoring in CIP lines in Food & Beverage production, within Water and Wastewater treatment, or Chemical and Biotech processes, use pH probes, for which Satron offers a version of its innovative PASVE® mounting and service valve.

The PASVE® pH is both a mounting bracket and a service valve, designed as shown in the video to enable the installation, removal, cleaning, or calibration of pH sensors, decoupling the pH probe from the process environment so that the production process is not interrupted. A version with a pneumatic actuator is also offered to automate the procedure.

Substantial productivity improvements are provided by removing the need to halt a continuous production process to calibrate a pH probe, or removing the risks of other “hot-swapping” methods.

The ease of removal offered by the PASVE® pH encourages good practise, so that the pH sensors are kept clean and wet between use to maintain measurement accuracy and prevent premature wear. Using the pH probe to only measure when needed during batch processes also reduces sensor exposure, improves overall stability, and maximises sensor life.

A calibrator can be easily be connected directly to the PASVE® pH valve for quick and accurate onsite calibration.

As shown in the video (Satron PASVE pH.mp4), the precision-engineered rotating ball valve mechanism enables maintenance personnel to easily and quickly insert or disconnect pH probes without interrupting flow or depressurising vessels.

By integrating Satron’s PASVE® pH service valves into process lines, manufacturers can improve operational efficiency, improve sensor performance and standardise safety, protecting their workforce from the risks of “hot-swapping”.
