Elfab has introduced Ferrule Opti-Gard, a reverse acting disc designed for use in hygienic and aseptic applications.
The rupture disc features 95% operating ratio and 3% tolerance. It is available in a variety of sizes, and suitable for a range of burst pressures and temperatures. The design is non-fragmenting and capable of supporting vacuum and back pressures. The disc can be used with tri-clamps and ferrules, and has an uninterrupted surface finish to meet FDA approvals, so is suited to CIP and SIP applications.
Another addition to Elfab’s range is the electron beam welded rupture disc plugs, designed for high pressure applications up to 800barg.
