Bowman Stor’s primary range of SEPURA™ oil/water separators has yet again surpassed all expectations with recent tests proving incredibly low percentages of impurity in outlet discharges.

The tests, carried out by the fully independent and globally recognised DIBt (the German Institute for Construction Technology), showed that the content of mineral oil (HC) in all effluent samples was well below the limit value of <20 mg/l.
In fact the mineral oil in all of the tested samples was less than 0.1 mg/l. (0.1 ppm).
What’s more, the results cover not only the flagship SEP60ST unit but also the SEP120 through to the 2500ST mid-range separator models.
The hydrocarbon index was determined in the laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9377-2 (H53) using compressor oil as a reference.

Managing Director Richard Potts said: “This data speaks volumes in terms of SEPURA’s performance. We already knew that outlet contaminant levels were as low as 5ppm but we were amazed by these latest figures from a world-leading authority on the technical fitness of innovative products. With results like this, our customers can be fully assured that they are achieving the very cleanest levels of condensate discharge achievable and surpassing their environmental legislation requirements. That’s great news for them and great news for the environment”.
