Industrial products specialist LC Automation has launched its 2012 catalogue, which looks to simplify the purchasing process for buyers. Alongside 5,000 products from 26 world-leading manufacturers, the catalogue provides technical information, application tips and aims to give the customer a good level of product knowledge so they can make an informed decision as to which product fits their needs best.
The A5-sized, 500-paged catalogue was nine months in development and represents a significant investment for the Blackburn-based firm, with a total production cost of £100,000.
Malcolm Chadwick, LC Automation’s Managing Director, said: “We’ve put a lot of thought into how the catalogue can work best for our customers, and we feel the new added value pages which give background information on everything from energy saving to advice on safetystandards and systems really bring its pages to life. “Anyone can sell a product in a box. We advise our customers on how to select the correct products for their project – and then help them to make the equipment work as they want it to.”
The usability of the catalogue is as simple and headache free as possible. Colour coded sections, and a clear and consistent design means a product can be identified in the shortest time possible.
Detailed background and application information on key product areas include machinery safety, installing safety light curtains, calculating energy savings and selecting the correct gearbox.
New products launched in the 2012 catalogue include Lighting, building management and security represents a new field for LC Automation, and fits perfectly with the company’s current offering. Products from Danlers, Industrial Interface, Invensys IMServe and Socomec are all featured within this range.
